High School bands in TX are nowhere close to what they used to be which makes it hard to recruit from the home state for PV and TxSU.. for example when I march at Willowridge 95-99 we were a constant 285-300+ size band, now they like 40-50 if that...

People just don't care about band like people use to. Some just rather get a JOB. Mostly freshmen are band members... My opinion.

this is a true example when a program lacks an identity or tradition. Even with director changes, etc. Southern or Jackson State would never go through this.
