  man these dudes went off! my CB vincent was from Reed and came out 97' but didnt see det boy on the clips.. unless i didnt recognize em... but when he came to txsu in 97' he brought this style of freestyling that cats just weren't ready for and then the copying started... cats use to freestyle back in the day out here in houston but nowhere near this N.O. style or level and wen vincent got down here then cats started to copy the style but for some reason today cats are extremely slow on them z's... i was like man i remember wen it would look like gold flashes becuz how fast that boy use to be twirling lol... step the game up

  Animal was arguably the best cymbal player in N.O. history (as far as twirling, blazing, freestyling goes)

  @Jesse "Boy Wonder" Veal think about it though, in the 90s N.O. bands and SU dominated EVERY aspect of band. During that same time, the majority of SU's band was from New Orleans...coincidence??? I think not

  The 90's were a crazy time for N.O. bands!  Dominated every aspect of marching band, stands, fields, sound, power, appearance,etc.
