  • everybody in N.O played the same songs.. the battles usually were about who sounded better or whos was "louder" ..

    other than that.. everybody did have signature tunes that nobody else played or was known for playing..

  • there's nobody at GSU to really vouch for N.O Area bands anymore..My Sr. Year 2001, The New Orleans members of the band put in request that Reed and Kennedy Show... .. we didnt play together that year. but we sure were the Only 2 bands to Eat that Grambling Cafeteria food ..lol .. i dont think they did that in 02 ..lol


    the clip with "Is It a Crime" was an Unexpected moment. it was the first time Us and Carver got together to play songs. They marched so close to us we just Marched in together (purposely) .. people thought a fight would have broken out ..lol.. / we played other songs like Spirit and "Spend Some Time Too" even tho we didnt play spirit the same.. but we did it anyway ..lol

  • yeah That's Shoan Ruffin, Kennedy Alumni and Drum Instructor, He was was at Bell 1993-94 Before coming to Kennedy 94-95 he as at Kennedy for 10 years before heading to Reed in 2004-05.

    He's with Roots of Music and St. Aug right now

    .. Other wise @ Raymond Allen. The clip was filmed at Grambling State's Homecoming .. I think they had just finished battling Separately with Osborn HS before doing that..
