Speaking on all comments; Bands don't own the rights to any song. And if the arrangement was copied, then I could see a reason for someone to be upset. Lets be real; This is what used to make being in band fun by seeing who had the better arrangement, sound, and clarity of the same song.
First, this song wasn't in any way copied from SU. They may have played it first, but that certainly doesn't give them claims to it, so you folks who still have that big chip on your shoulders, U all need to find a spot and sit still, cut the crap, get over it and move on. This song was created by and is owned by Earth, Wind, and Fire. Remember that. This is who both bands copied it from so no need to be bitter because SCSU sounded so good. Second, every song isn't meant to be played with this so called power or in other words, unecessary overblowing and overplaying of instruments that nearly all of the SWAC bands are known for. It makes most of those bands' music sound messy, dirty, and many times hard to understand what's being played. Third, it's very evident many of you have must have never heard the original song - Two Hearts, so I say to you, listen to the original song by EWF and you will hear that this version sounds like the original and not like SU's version. GREAT JOB 101, now that you guys have played this song, we know what the original song actually sounds like without having to guess when that other band plays its. You will always have haters, so you must be doing something absolutely right. By the applause you guys received at this BOTB, the crowd loved the performance. Keep making the haters mad. Again, great job 101.
They're just playin the song as if its just another song... It sounds nasty... They have the size for them to still sound powerful and strong but they should have focused on finess rather than blowin... i was excited at the begining but after the intro it went down hill...
