As I recall there were a few people losing their mind saying how terrible the boom was cause of the marches at bandcamp, figured they wouldnt comment on this though #kanyeshrug.
I post on youtube as 4444raider and I stated they would be okay, I recognized easily that the errors by the upper classmen were minute and yeah there were people that seem to think Jackson's band was coming to an end and the sky was falling. Being at the game Saturday validated 2 things for me. 1) I was right. 2) Young bandheads and neophites have absolutely no comprehension of the fact "sometimes" a bad showing can make you stronger!, if you learn from it.
They both played their share of marches.. PV tried to end it but JSU kept rolling them out. I enjoyed PV. I have never seen them up front before. They look good. All the hype about their halftime show was a lot of fluff however. I didn't enjoy it, looked more like a MEAC band with the drumline and all. Guess that's how they do it; no prob, but I nor any one sitting near me enjoyed it

WOW. I guarantee there will be NO SWAC PREGAME like this unless these two meet up again. Up until now there was only one swac band that I respected when it came to marches and that was UAPB. After watching this, PV gets added to that list. Boom sounded great on that Rolling Thunder. Clean, crisp articulation on that march even with the tempo change. Good job to both bands. SN: Boom...pick up that tempo to GET READY!!! lol
Did both bands really just play all marches for the pregame? I admire the musicianship in both bands but as a spectator thats not what im looking for in a pregame....but they sound nice
