Underage Thinker, at least did say you are CONFUSED and you will get no arguments from on that from me. But let me clear up your misguided use of the wasted words you typed. You may not have gotten the memo, but SCSU didn't do anything that belonged to SU. If they did anything similar to what SU may have done in the past, then let's attribute that the late great Mr. Carnell Knighten. Don't know if you KNEW this, but Mr. Knighten before his untimely passing was an arranger on staff with the Marching 101 of SCSU. This is the show they were working on before he passed days before Honda 2012. For 1millionth time, a band's IDENTITY comes from the vision and the philsophy of the BAND DIRECTOR. No band directs itself. When Mr. Ellis left MBC 8 or 9 yrs ago and when Mr. Knighten left SU 2yrs ago to come to SCSU, their visions, philosophies, techniques, and yes, their MUSIC ARRANGEMENTS came with them for their new band to play because these directors were well within their rights to bring their things to SCSU. Maybe your confusion and lack of understanding stems from the fact that you are as you named yourself, an "underage thinker." Nothing and I mean nothing you can say, will say, or have said, that will change the FACT that the SCSU Marching 101 was voted fan favorites at Honda 2012 just as they were at Honda 2011 because they simply put on a great show and entertained the crowd far better then any of the others bands who participated. That's it and that's all. I know this is not popular with you, but you will get over it, you will grow up, and you won't be underage forever. GREAT JOB MARCHING 101!

So now SCSU is SU?!? Im so confused by this bands identity?!? Star Drills, Knighten Drill Music, SU endings.... o_0

Please SCSU....u have the talent on ur staff. Sit down and come to grisp on elements that will help the band community and ur fans define wat is SCSU. Yall r still a conglomerate of bands in my eyes. Not a bad band but ur identity just seems lost and im not sure it's ever been found.

Footballa2012 despite what you say about the Marching 101's show, there were several thousands of folks in the Georgia Dome who attended Honda 2012 live that would say different and absolutely did by their response after the 101's performance. They were voted fan favorite again at Honda 2012 just as they were at Honda 2011.

yea it was entertaining but it was also the sloppiest show hands down too
