I dont get it when people say SU plays "loud". Hell thats just about every school in the swac and wherever else. I mean seriously SU started it and now you have every school out here who plays "loud" just to keep up with the Jukebox. Just stating facts. And whoever says that their particular band doesnt play "loud" is a lie.
It's only a few ways that you can arrange this song! I think JSU and SU play good versions!! I mean you can change the Baseline a little but, that's it! It's not like it's a HARD song anyway!!! lol So calm down ppl sheesh! But, I will say that JSU's might be a little bit more balanced b/c after the Tuba Break, the B-tones and Mellos swallowed the Trumpets to the fact that i didn't even know that they were palying anymore!!
when i listen to SU i always feel it's the same thing, loud, but just more of the same. i don't care for their stand performance any more. I just like their field shows.. everyone was pretty much just playing the same part until the end of this song.
