  • Fast forward to 5:10 to hear all the parts to crush.

  • What the hell is this? The arranger needs a bullet in his ass from my .9mm.......I'm tired of these men messing over these kids!!!!

  • Looking at the 2000 clip and looking at the 2012 clip.  The difference in the 2000 clip is that you had feeder schools like Gregory, Marshall, Bell, Livingston, Woodson and over else I left out to make it sound that way.  2012 clip this band is starting fresh with new kids just getting on a horn so it is not a don't blame the arrangement. But I will give props they are doing good for this era and what they have to work with which is more structure other schools.

  • Yea the key is the same. Que, I remember you tellin me about what happened with a lot of the old arrangements. I think you're doin a great job workin with what you have. I actually kinda like this arrangement better than the old one.lol. Here's the old one just for a point of reference:

  • No I didn't change the key. I just found out last night that the T-bone part wasn't chored. I was told that it was a unison part, so that maybe what you are hearing.

  • It sounds pretty good actually! Eddie nice job of putting the parts together without the original parts! I'll be down there next weekend through Mardi Gras. I can't wait to hear ya'll in person! Keep up the great work, ya'll restoring  that level of excellence that has and always will be expected when we put that uniform on...

  • sounds pretty much the same to me as far as the parts and melodies of each section. I only hear a few differences as far as the actual notes and chords from this version and and the 2000 band which makes me believe that Eddie may have changed the key (I may be wrong) but besides that, it didnt' sound bad @ all but I think it could be cleaned up just a little more. That's about it tho

  • Ok lets get this arrangment thing out the way. We have been trying to play Crush for to years. Unfortunally we didn't have all the parts. We only were able to find a 2nd trumpet, baritone, and mellophone part. I took those parts and plugged in the trombone, 1st trumpet, tuba, and woodwind parst.  Winston the original arranger no longer had the original parts.

  • Nice!!!!
