Walker def got this one...song selection was on point and their sound was full....both had intonation problems tho. I agree with mlmkwm, it's time for St. Aug to make some changes...
It pains me to say this, but judging from this clip St. Aug was done when they decided to play "Pretty Brown Eyes". Both bands obviously can be a whole lot better when their focus is not on blowing each other out. As a result, both had intonation problems and at times weren't very clean. However, if I had to crown a winner it would be Walker, simply because they had a much bigger sound. Also, I never thought I'd say this, being a St. Aug Alumnus that loved playing on the upright B-tone, but St. Aug is in serious need of some marching B-tones--at times their sound is extremely muffled. Nevertheless, despite my negative comments, I do see improvements with both bands--especially with Walker's trumpet section. Good job, but clean it up.
