  • Walker def got this one...song selection was on point and their sound was full....both had intonation problems tho. I agree with mlmkwm, it's time for St. Aug to make some changes...
  • St. Aug was much cleaner than Walker word to the wise loader is not always better

  • It pains me to say this, but judging from this clip St. Aug was done when they decided to play "Pretty Brown Eyes". Both bands obviously can be a whole lot better when their focus is not on blowing each other out. As a result, both had intonation problems and at times weren't very clean. However, if I had to crown a winner it would be Walker, simply because they had a much bigger sound. Also, I never thought I'd say this, being a St. Aug Alumnus that loved playing on the upright B-tone, but St. Aug is in serious need of some marching B-tones--at times their sound is extremely muffled. Nevertheless, despite my negative comments, I do see improvements with both bands--especially with Walker's trumpet section. Good job, but clean it up.
