See, I argue with facts, not emotion. Those of you who say you know Professor Lane, ask him. I have the Facebook inbox where I asked him and he replied.

He wrote the cadence while on staff at TSU, FOR TSU. SU did not add it to their series until later.

Some of you young catz need to review HBCU history...Just because TSU plays the cadence DOES NOT mean that they were the originators. Like ya boy funkfactorypc98 said...just read his comment and check yourself before you post next time.

@ TNSTATE if u know Johnny Lane u will know that he marched his collegiate years at SU. Therefore, to call it a TNSTATE cadence is foolish. Johnny Lane brought these cadences that was played at SU FIRST to u cats. Ur drumline is Jr. to the FUNK FACTORY.

Im trying to give other styles a chance by watching clips and i know as long as i been on MS this is the first clip i ever bothered to watch of SU drumline and boi!! I see why they never challenge us at ala St. We will eat them ALIVE..lol!
