  ASU traveled to MVSU so I can assure no current Marching Hornets attended this game... however, we have had our share of members from Nashville... No different from me reppin my Hornets at an Albany State game when I'm at home...

  John a certified hater cause TNSU been playing word up for so long it"s a shame and lets know talk about other songs that are in some schools books. But people like John got something to say when SU brings back a song! Thats hate right there

  1) It's game one. You should be happy the didn't play Purple Carnival, Fight Song, I'm so Glad, and one pop tune

  2) The easiet way to get a big book is to play songs that the whole band is familiar with.

  3)The oldest members in this band probably crab in 08.(unless they have some 5th rip people) Many of these kids may have came to Southern because of 05. So they want to play the songs that made them want to come to da U.

  4) If it sounds good who cares. I would hope J-State has songs like secret garden always ready to go and FAM has songs like Total Praise always ready to go. If it ain't broke don't fix it.( Now this is for bandheads. If you just a causual listener I understand why you care so much about new songs but if you're a bandhead you should be worrying about how the band sounds especially at game 1)

  SU normally have a huge fan base no matter what game....WTH are they now!? Stands look empty

  How come the first thing folks want from the "S" in week 1 is "every fugg'n song in the book"?  Esp, in instances like this.  Be glad you got what you got.
