    It was an oversight in not mentioning it, and Mr. Adam's tenure at SU was before my time.  When I was coming up, folks in the city (New Orleans) talked about Baskin & Johnson and Knighten and Jackson.  Really that being based moreso on what the bands were playing in the city and peoples experiences with the directors after having gone up there.

    Why doesn't Paul Adams ever get credit from SU arrangers? Dude did more for SU image, style, and sound more than any other. At least that's how it's been explained to me.
