@BAND/MUSIC if you know anything about music it's called modulation, which means when the key signature changes it will go 1 hold or half step up. So just because the notes are higher dosen't necessarily mean they are over blowing.
Bruh Mr. J doing what he did had absolutely nothing to do with Alcorn. It was a direct diss to Murray. It just so happens he's the BD at Alcorn. He could be the BD at Butt Fawk Egypt University and Mr. J woulda went at his neck the same way.
Alcorn is making major strides in the right direction. It's been so disappointing watching my program fall of the map the last few years. Now it's good to see the transformation in such a very short time, they are not an automatic W for bands now. Southern is the best battle band period, so agressive and relentless at the same time. The fact Alcorn is getting postive comments against the Jukebox says alot about our direction. Mr. J going off also says alot because he wouldn't waste his time flexing against a crap band.
WOW! I must say that after I watched round 1, I thought maybe ASU would have a chance. BUT they fell into the "SU Ballad Trap," a point from which FEW bands have recovered (maybe only 1). SmhLol, you shouldn't have... However, it's nice to see programs MUCH better than last year's.
Alcorn: I'm liking these slight changes (style, identity, drumline); really considering attending the CCC this year.
SU: Wow! Trumpets are out-shining the lower brass! I've NEVER been impressed by them before this year. I'm close to nominating them for one of the year's best sections, but we have 1.5 months left. Let's see...
