Beat me to it, Fabe. Shol' alot of fabricating in here. It's typical, though.
LOL @ "didn't want to see the BOX". Sir...the BOX played on the track...SU stood up and sarcastically applauded. Then, a few seconds later all said "Now, sit'cho arse down!!"....lol. Trust..with the sound SU was bringing, the Box was of no concern that night. Not with the "S" in the whole Storm's arse. This ain't nowhere close to the whole 5th.
Tapemaster these are some interesting comments mostly bias and from a known SU Hater BToneexpressFamu98! PV sound and songs had nothing on SU that night! Funk Factory against the Box I may give you that!
I was at this game with some of my band mates from Carter HS. This was our 2nd trip to Houston back then. Our first was when we battled Yates at the Astrodome, but this time was when we (along with Kimball HS, although separately) went as a field trip. We (Carter) stood just as close as we could to the Funk Factory (as the majority of us as a drumline went), and I personally met up with a couple of cats from the Forest Brook HS drumline. Good people. Had a lot of fun. The BOX showed out that year, too...
I had a tape of this and it had the BOX playing cadences on the track....SU i heard that the Funk Factory didnt wanna see them that year....lmao what ever tha case is both bands were strong as hell and Southern still sounds almost the same but they were more powerful back then....
