SWD is equal portioned in brass and woodwinds tho....not a bad arrangement tho....it fits them

The biggest my high school band ever was was bout 200+ and we sounded louder the next year wit like 150. No offence but SWD is over rated to me. People know dem by they size. I know some smaller high school bands that will blow them out. My high school could have.

i felt the same way when i went to a lli practice back in '04...that night there were 225 members present, and i was like, dammmnnn!!! lol!!! there were 18 tuba players and we had to share cause there were not enough tubas...
