SWD is equal portioned in brass and woodwinds tho....not a bad arrangement tho....it fits them

The biggest my high school band ever was was bout 200+ and we sounded louder the next year wit like 150. No offence but SWD is over rated to me. People know dem by they size. I know some smaller high school bands that will blow them out. My high school could have.

i felt the same way when i went to a lli practice back in '04...that night there were 225 members present, and i was like, dammmnnn!!! lol!!! there were 18 tuba players and we had to share cause there were not enough tubas...

My high school band wasn't close to being this size. Our brass section consisted of 5 trumpets, 4 mellos, 8 baritones, 8 trombones and 4 tubas. When I joined the Jukebox I was blinded because I had never seen so much brass in my life. LOL!!!!!

Wish more highschools could be that deep these days...Dedication is the key...
