    I play this same sh*t in high school, when I played in a corp band after katrina!  Damn I hated this long as score for the field show.

    The first time was trumpets and the second time was on flugels. They generally played in sub screaming range (I don't count anything below concert Eb/ F on trumpet as "screaming"), but Ol' Buddy in the middle played a clean, and rather forceful, F# and 'Double' G (on trumpet) at the end of the first clip... Hence the mic distortion.

    I like De Hoinz version better, those aren't trumpets and they're not screaming
