I must be talking about the 99 line then.... they were "unique"..... they were doing step 2 drills in the stands when they came to AAMU..... the next year, I was lookin like WTF happenned.
'96 - Daniel Miree (freshman) from Detroit ran the cymbal section and transformed it. What can I say, he was better than the upperclassmen LOL He and some of the other freshmen pledged Rat Patrol and were kicked out.
'97 - Cymbal section went back to usual
'98 - Daniel Townsend (his crab brother from '96) was let back into the band and ran the cymbal section until '2000.
'99 - A transfer cymbal player from SU came and joined the line.
TSU cymbal section was "GREAT" one year... it was either 96 or 98 when the dude from SU came and remodeled their entire section... a year later they were back to the usual.
