1st Class, for your info, Ville Platte took NUMEROUS 1st through 3rd place trophys from 83-93 in a variety of locations, which include parades, which really dont mean much, major battle of the bands, some of which were from SU. YOU know NOTHING about Ville Platte High Marching Band man, and please may I inform you with that fact that I PLAN TO ATTEND AND BE A PART OF A COLLEGE SHOWBAND IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I AM NOT ONE OF THE MANY WHO DO STEREOTYPE SHOWBANDS. AND WITH THE WAY YOU HAPPENED TO DIRECT IT, IT SEEMED TO BE TOWARD ME WHICH I FIND QUITE OFFENSIVE. And what I say has some bullshit to it because I apparently have heard alot wrong, but there is actual relevance and facts as well from what I SURELY know. And I do what I have to do to be successful from the day I started school until the day that I get my masters. So quit responding with this "do what you have to do to be successful" because im already nearing the top of my expectations, 1st class. And when Im telling you I like the arrangement Ive just seen better, why do you take offence?
And since I know nothing about VPHS or for that matter marching band or music, PLEASE take the time to tell me what you know about a band I have been a part of now for 7 years, and that my family and alum had been a part of for years before I was even born man... Ive heard and seen proof, Now I want you to tell me what exactally is dominant and what was VPHS back in the 80s and early 90s.

And you seriously think im offended by the way you talk about my race fking up this band but yet you were still a lil chump when this band was dominating back in the 80s and early 90s. We fell off drastically but we are CURRENTLY in a rebuilding process, which although this site is filled with people who critique ruthelessly, they can at least respect that. Also, from what i've heard from other people who attended SU, Knighten didnt even like marching band, he was just there mainly to arrange, which honestly I love his arrangements, and concert season.
