  Coming from a person who marched in the band 03-06 ( Haymer Era) Yes the band is not what it use to be.. Hey things happen different BD in 4 yrs since Haymer left.. Yeah the attitude of the students has a lot do with it. Thats something they will have to fix.. Not saying we was the perfect band lord knows if any body from any of those schools would have came to a week of a WM band practice the stuff you would have seen.. Would have pissed you off and make you wonder how the hell these MFs keeps winning every damn thing.. (And I do mean every damn thing) So the band has made a lot of improvements but still has ways to go.. Trust me it will get back to where it use to be!!! Hold ya heads up Jukes yall doing good!!

  I sound old but I can remember at one point wm was BEAST...they don't have a bad band program it jus u kno different from what it was back then...new generation I guess but they still get around n show pride...dats wassup

  For your info Washington Marion left because they had to play at the Huston Rockets game dont think we ran away from no battle we handled our business and left those secong place bands alone. And no wm is not what it used to be no band is really what it used to be the genration has changed but WM work with what they got so !!!!
