    It's way easier for a smaller band to be clean, alot less factors come into play.  They sound great, I've heard corp bands that sound like sh*t before, trust me they're out there.

    I dont know what the hell they TRY to teach at SU, but thats half the reason yall sound like SHIT!!! TERRIBLE intonation, lack of breath support, and TERRIBLE GUIDANCE..... you better ask around about me kid....

    You sound stupid stupid man... No embouchure is going to be the same do to mutations in the jaw line, teeth placement and other deforms people have that vary from person to person. and please tell me where i said you were a half step flat? i always said SPOO was a HALF STEP SHARP.. and no one from SU is ever in tune with each other. PLEASE CHECK MY RESUME BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO COME AT ME WITH THAT BULLSHIT!!! I am on a WHOLE OTHER level musically than you could THINK about being KID!!!

    YOUNG DAMIEN.....I said all those things to point out that, at SU, we practice musicianship. Don't ever skip your Literature Class again. You need to learn how to read written passages and figure out the main idea without it actually saying it. You would learn that at Southern University. We graduate @ SU. Also, when you ,one day, become a senior you will know; at your senior recital you play all the music you learned and performed during all 4 of your college years. And how can the horns be a half step flat with the tuning slide pushed in. Wouldn't we be flatter if we pulled the tuning slides out?.... Only thing i can agree with you on is that there are alot of high band directors who do not take the time to teach proper breath support, CORRECT embouchure(Everyones embouchure IS suppose to be the SAME), proper breathing technique which all contribute to a full powerful sound...... other than that....YOU'RE AN MUSICAL IDIOT!!!!.LOL
