The bands will be close and they do allow you to go on the field after the game. I don't think HISD security will be kicking anyone out either. Delmar Holds about 12K which should be more than enough to accomodate the crowd. Needless to say both teams are decent this year, it's the last game of the year so it should be fun.

12k is not enough if you ask me... SU can bring up to 30,000 easy! i'm looking forward to this game because the fact they are going to be so close and face to face...

If the WEATHER holds up this is perfect. Southern is capable but WILL NOT bring 30K to Houston. It's the last game of the season with nothing to play for, on top of that people saving money for Christmas. However, I do expect a nice crowd of 7 to 10K wich would fill that stadium up considering the bands will take up so much space.
FROM a Band Head point of view, this is almost most perfect for Post Game if you can make it on the field. Even if you can't you can walk from side to side easily during the game. There is no track so the bands will definately feel each other. Last game of the season, SWAC Rules out the window. LOL, I 'm just hoping both bands EMPTY out their book and we get a lonng fifth. Why not, nothing to lose.
You right, I'm not sure if I want to sit on TxSU's side the whole game because Southern is gonna have my ears ringing being that close across the field. And that Stadium captures every sound/note being that it's built partially below ground level with those walls on the North Endzone and Field House on the southe endzone.
