The 35th Annual Alcorn State University Jazz Festival, April 18, 2015 in the Vicksburg Convention Center, will feature performances by high school and university jazz ensembles from around the country, an educational workshop conducted by the featured guest artists, Ron Carter, an evening performance by an all-star regional jazz ensemble and the Ron Carter group. The 35th ASU Jazz Festival is supported in part by the Mississippi Arts Commission, South Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts and Art Works. All events in the all-day festival are FREE and open to the public.
