The MLK Youth Parade Is A Civic Event That Is Produced Annually By The MLK Parade Foundation-Houston. The Sole Purpose Of This Event Is To Promote Racial/Cultural Harmony Through The Art Of Music Appreciation. The 2010 Production Will Consist Of More Than 200 Hundred Parade Entries To Include Forty Five (45) Of The Nation's Best Middle School And High School Marching Bands. The Parade's Theme "Embracing The Brotherhood Of Man" Will Emphasize Cultural Diversity While Articulating Dr.King's Message Of Inclusion And Total Community.
