Atlanta, GA, November 8, 2008: – DRUMLine Live is an international tour based on the Historically Black College and University marching band tradition. With riveting rhythms, bold beats and ear-grabbing energy, the staged show will be a synchronized musical showcase of the HBCU experience. Incorporating original compositions and soul-infused interpretations of top 40 hits, group performances will range from colorful, choreographed routines to heavy doses of drum riffs and cadences. This live, staged show is co-produced by Halftime Live, LLC and CAMI Ventures, LLC and is currently auditioning for a 50-city tour (Including stops in South Korea and Japan) kicking off in Athens, GA January 7, 2009.The auditions will be held at Martin Luther King, Jr. High School, 3991 Snapfinger Rd, Lithonia, GA 30038, in the Band Room, Saturday, November 8, 2008. Auditions and interviews for actors and musicians are at 9:00am and will end at 12:00pm. Auditions for dancers will begin promptly at 1:00pm. Applicants will be seen on a first come, first served basis.We are auditioning for the following positions and musicians: Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, French Horn, Clarinet, Piccolo, Alto Sax, Percussion, Dancers, Actors, and Vocalists.The musicians and actors selected in this “elite” group will receive a competitive salary, lodging, and meals along with bragging rights after the tour is complete.For more information, please visit www. What should I wear to Auditions?A. Dress may be anything comfortable that showcases your figure and does not restrict movement. (A two piece leotard will be required for any call-back and final auditions)Q. How should I wear my Hair?A. Hair should be worn in a current style that iscomplimentary to your face and should beworn down in order to promote movement.Q. How should I wear my make-up?A. For the purpose of auditions, Make-up should be worn in moderation and intones that compliment your natural beauty.Q. What are the judges looking for?A.
