  • Yes, maybe someone, perhaps the arranger should take a look at those chordal structures that he used for Dead Giveaway.....it took me a couple of times listening to it to actually recognize what i was hearing.....and might i say i was quite.....???.....DISTURBED at my findings..... Seriously...i would expect such display of" TRAIN DERAILMENT"  from ST.AUGUSTINE.....but not from O.P.WALKER..... Please go back to the drawing board on that one....

  • @ArthurF "Out of town"? What does that have to do w/ my opinion? It's simple bruh, St. Aug's concert band is about half the size of the marching band--maybe smaller. This means that over half of the band probably hasn't played an instrument since Zulu. Can they still play, sure they can. Do they have the chops to go 4 or 5 rounds with Walker, who hasn't stopped blowing their brains out since football season, probably not. If u hadn't been to the gym in 4 weeks, your fooling yourself if u think you're going to lift the same weight as u did before--you have to train to get back to where you used to be. The same is true for STA, which is why they sounded good on their 1st few songs but began to fizzle out by the 3rd song--they weren't in condition for battle. Walker clearly won the battle, but IMO its kind of a cheap celebration considering the circumstances.

  • And "The Book" has spoken AGAIN!!! Lol
  • around this time every year when walker leaves for a botb, st aug is usually preparing for a spring concert that's common..it's not a Excuse but it's a valid reason that both band approached the battle the way they did .. Had this been 10 years ago.. each band would have only sent about 40 people to do this event.. because its common that bands are doing  other things around this time of the year..

  • I clearly said it. Until a person commented n said some about how louder st. Aug is compared to walker, n then I said well arrangements would have a lot to do with it, n if yu were in a band yu would kno just like any1 else that it makes a difference. N I didn't say it as an excuse to why walker lost a few rounds to st. Aug buddy
  • Yo ArthurF...it ain't no different than when Walker loses and y'all give every excuse in the book about arrangements, fatigue, etc.....don't act like u clearly admitted every defeat either...
  • Hey n do yu still stay out of town, I think yu were the guy b4 sayn yu stay out of town, if so then yu would b just repeating something yu saw some1 Else wrote or said right. Smh. I'm glade I didn't go there then I would b like """ you guys"""
  • Ok so then yu would b sayn fah the past few year t aug had been preparing for concert, I mean dn see any excuses we made whn we lost,, it only come frm the men that's to proud to clearly admit defeat. Think about it. If y'all say walker won then say it. Yu wouldn't have to put a but in it or go into details. Then the shit yu talking becomes bullshit
  • LOL @ArthurF. The truth of the matter is everybody (including alum) has an excuse for why their school lost. However, the fact is some excuses are more valid and acceptable than others. So if ATL was on Walker's mind in January than it is what it is, but if you refuse to except the fact that St. Aug has been preparing for a concert as an excuse that's cool too. The truth is everybody has an excuse, some are just more valid than other.

  • Hey DNt tall thinks its crazy for us. (Meaning the ppl who DNt attend either school) anymore, n can give an excuse for them for why they didn't do well or what they been practicing for, n shit like that.like we b there everyday n kno what b going on in the band room. DNt yall think that's crazy???
